Phantom Tollbooth

           This week I read a really great book. This is the story of a young boy who's name is milo. One day milo choose to ride in his little toy car. When milo os driving, he get transported to THE KINGDOM OF WISDOM. While Milo is their he decides choose to go on a mission to save the king.  This is the story of is time in Kingdom of wisdom. I liked it because of the plot. I choose to read the code runner as my next book. I heard that this takes a long time and I am a really slow reader so this will most likely be the only book i read.

       I was so hungry I was going to die. Dad Please make the steak because I am supper hungry and I want to light the candles and get the first night of Hanukkah. He said OK. I went to set up the menorah. I got out Six candles. Two for me, Two for my sister, and Two for my dad. ( My mom is not Jewish so she does not have one). I put the candles in. My dad got the prayers out and my mom got the camera out. 

    We light the shamus and started to light the candles.  Then we had to say another prayer one since it was the first night of Hanukkah. When we finished my dad went to get the gifts. This is the best part for me. Then he gave me my present, then helens. We both opened them at the same times. She got a itunes gift card and I got a video game for my xbox one.

The Pact Week Two

This week I  the book named the pact. The pact is about three boys who live in the hood of New Jersey. This is the story of how they survived the streets and became doctors. When Sam, George, and Rameck where in high school, they made a pact to become doctors. This is the story of how they stayed true to the pact that they made and became doctors. I really loved this book. My favorite character was Rameck. I liked that he became friends with George and Sam even though they where already close friends with each other. I thought that it was really cool that for the most part, all of the boys stated out of  trouble unlike the other kids growing up. I really liked it because it was a true story of boys who made the best out of what they had.

The Pact
Week: 1/2

             This week I read/ currently reading a great book. This book is named the pact. The pact is about Three black boys growing up in the "hood". All of the men share one thing in common, They all want to become doctors. This is a book about who the survive the hood and the struggles that happen to become doctors. This is a great book. It so far has been my favorite book that I have read all year. It is sometimes hard to follow because it is written from three different perspectives but not too hard. WARNING!! Their are a ton of bad subjects in this book.

 This week I read the book called flipped. This is a book about two people. One of these persons is a mail the other person is a field female. When they first meet the girl liked the boy named  flipped. This is a book about two people. One of these persons is a male the other person is a  female. When they first met  Bryce  the boy did not like the girl. But the girl Loved Bryce. She loved every thing about him.  She especially liked his eyes. This story is told from both sides  throughout them growing up and being near each other.

I really love this book. I don't really like for Mansi books which this was but I still like this book. I really enjoyed how it was written. I like the idea I really love this book. I don't really like for romance  books which this was but I still liked this book. I really enjoyed how it was written. I like the idea that  this book could follow them growing up and how they act around each other.  I give this book a 3.5 out of five rating and would recommend it to people like romance books.

SOL Trip

I love snorkeling! I just love watching all the cool fish swim by. When I heard that we were going too go snorkeling, I was super happy when I heard that we were going to go snorkeling. I was the looking forward to this trip because of the snorkeling. It was a bummer because the first time that we went my mask was broken so i got too snorkel for about 5 min before i got stung by a sea urchin. But then the next time we went when we went to the north shore and sharks cove to snorkel, my mask was fixed and it was super fun although, I did get stung by another sea urchin which was not fun. I had a overall great time snorkeling in Hawaii and saw some great fish!

 Hurricane Song

This book was so far my favorite book that I have read this year and i have read a lot of books this year. I would recommend it to anyone in our class. It was a really great book. It is about a boy who lives in New Orleans when the big hurricane Katrina came. This is the story of how he his dad and his uncle deal with the hurricane. They end up in the super dome where every thing is crazy inside. Too make things worse, some mean people from his high school football team are their.

 This week I read the book called hurricane song. This song is about a teenage boy who lives in New Orleans. This book takes place during Hurricane Katrina. This is the story of how miles the teenage boy lives throughout the hurricane in survives.he has to stay close to his family a he has to stay close to his family and  be pushed to his limits in multiple ways. Can he do it?

I really enjoyed reading this book this week. I would recommend this book to almost anyone. It was a great fast read. There was only a little bit of profanity.

One week book
  This week I read the book a long walk to water. This book is based off of a true story that happened in Sudan. The story is about two people. The first one being a man named Slava.  Salva  is a "lost boy quote. This means that he's a refuge and is determined to go across Africa trying to find his family and safety. The second is about a young girl named Nya.   Every single day Nadia has to walk for hours to get water and then four hours coming back to her home.   This is the story of two people who are survivors  and are trying to find good futures for them.
I really enjoyed this book. This book was an amazing story. I really enjoyed it because it was a true story and told the story of two peoples whose  courage was amazing.  There were no bad topics in this book.  I would recommend this book to people who like truly amazing real life stories.

NBA finals 2014

They are sweating up a storm. Especially LLebron Jamezz. The tension is rising. Their have been already been 2 technical fouls and 18 team fouls combined. The score is tied with two minutes left. Its the 2014 NBA Finals with the heat playing the spurs. Game SEVEN. Who ever wins this game when the championship. LLLLERBRON JAMEZZZZ has had a great game he has had 29 points so far. But so has Kawia Lendahart. He has had 19 points with 7 blocks!!. Guess who wins. LLLerbron Jamezz and the Miami Heat. Guess who one MVP? LLLERBRON JAMEZZZZZ.

When you reach Me

This week I read the book when you reach me. This book is about a young girl whose name is Miranda.  One day Maranda found a mysterious note telling her about how she has to write letters otherwise her best friend will be killed.  Maranda found three other notes. With instructions on them. Miranda later on in the book figures out why she needs to write the letters.  I really enjoyed reading  this book this week. My favorite character was sal. Sal is Marandas best friend Who one  sal is Marandas best friend who one day gets punched day gets punched. I just feel really bad for him so that is what is my favorite character. I would recommend this book to anyone. This book was a fast read. There are no bad  topics in this book

The Hunting Gun by Yasushi Inoue

Over break I read the book The Hunting Gun. I liked the Book the hunting gun. This book was about an affair that took place near WWII. It starts with a girl reading her mothers journal. When she was reading her mothers journal, she found out about a affair she had. I liked the person in the book uncle Shokan. I just feel bad for him. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a short, fast read but also a intense book. This boo was about an affair so it was kinda inappropriate.

What to do on a airplane? I am going to be bored out of my mind when we go to Hawaii. I get bored  when I go on three hour flights and I have electronics. What am I going to do when we go to Hawaii. Guys, I hate to tomatoes. I hate every thing about them. I hate their shape, I hate their color, I hate their taste. I don't like their shape because I don't like round things because they make me feel fat, I don't like their color because I don't like the color read, and I don't even know where to start talking about their taste. I can't describe the taste but I hate it. In my opinion tomatoes are the worst food out their and I hate them. I HATE them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love to go to Mexico. I love when you fly into the airport over the ocean. It I'd so pretty looking at the water and then looking At the small roads with specks on them At are cars. Then once you walk out of the airport, you see tons of people asking to take your bag. Then you get in the car and go to your resort. We have been to the same resort 3 times but we really like it and the food their. They have great food.

I love summer. It is my favorite season of the year. Although, I also really like spring because it means that we are getting close to summer And I love summer! I like summer because it's the warmest season, it rains a lot and of course, I have no school!!! I like school but I don't like having homework and I also don't have to read a book a week and I can play with my friends.

Two week book

This week I finished the book the Apothecary. It is about a Girl named Janie who moved to London because her parents are Communist. She meets a boy named Benjamin who's dad is a apothecary. One day Benjamin comes to Janie with the news that her dad had been kidnapped. This is the story of their adventures to she his dad. I really liked this book at lot. I would recommend it to anyone. The start was a bit slow but towards the end was when it good good.

Making money whenever I snapped my fingers would be a pretty cool power. Let’s think about it. I could be the richest person in the world if I were to snap my fingers ten billion times. My fingers would be pretty sore and it would take a very long time, but it would still definitely be worth it. With the ten billion dollars that I had, I would purchase all the things that I talked about in my previous slice about my fantasy property. Comment below what your power would be.

Let’s assume that my house is burning down, not that that would happen (knock on wood!) and all humans and animals are safe. I can only get five items before my house completely catches fire. The first thing that I would grab would be one of our ten photo albums. My X-box One would be the second thing that I would grab. My sports equipment is special to me, so I would take that, too. If I was super strong, (not that I’m not!) I would grab my bed so I could sleep. If I could grab one more thing before my house was to burn down I would take my phone so I could contact people.

If I were to go on a one -year study abroad trip I would choose to live in Japan. I have always wanted to go visit there and it would be nice to live there for a year. During my time in Japan I would take into consideration the difference between Japan and the United States. I would also learn how to speak Japanese. Even though it probably will not be useful back in the United States it would still be fun to learn it. I would like to learn more about the history of Japan and visit some of the cool temples. My grandma and my aunt went there for her birthday and visited some of the cool shrines and took pictures that show how remarkable they are.

If I were to put five things into a time capsule to look at when I was older, the first thing I would put in it would be clippings from my last hair cut so I could be sure to know my natural color when I’m older and want to dye it. The second thing that I would put in it would be my iPhone 6 so that when I’m older and they come out with the iPhone 1000, I can compare the two phones. The third thing that I would put in it would be a journal, if I kept one (which I don’t). The fourth thing that I would put in it would be some token to remind me of how many sports I am playing, like a jersey from my team. The last thing that I would put in the time capsule would be a photo of my family standing outside of my house.
