Thanksgiving SOL
Thanksgiving is my favorite day of the whole year! Every thanksgiving I go to my Ant and uncles house. In the morning, we all watch the Macy's thanksgiving day parade. When that is over we all watch the thanksgiving day dog show. After that we go to little Cheaseman park to play our families annual thanksgiving day football game "not soccer". This is my favorite part of the whole day. Next my family all ways watches a movie. When the movie is done, we go home to change into nice cloths for thanksgiving dinner. By the time we get all changed and go back to my ant and uncles house and are ready to start dinner, it is 7:30. we normally finish dinner and dessert my 9:40 and then talk to about 11:00 than we go home and thanksgiving is over.

The Martian
Week Two

Mark has almost all of Earth hoping for his return from Mars. NASA has come up with a lot of ideas on how to bring Mark back alive. All of them are risky and dangerous and to say the least, expensive. Will Mark make it out of Mars alive? Or nah.
This book is my new favorite book. I really liked this book because of all of the science in the book. The one downside is that this book had a lot of bad words in it. This book took me a long time to read, but it was worth it. The Martian is also kind of an adult book.

Slice of life #3
Their was three seconds left on the clock. I was playing in a snowy championship game in a soccer tournament in pueblo. I was so cold, I could hardly breath without coughing. It was 5 degrees and we were still playing anyway back to the slice. Their was three seconds left and their was a foul just outside of the box. My team was winning by 1 goal and the other team was taking the shot. I was in the goal. It was the longest three seconds of my life. I other guy slide back on the snow and the shot hit the cross bar. We had won!

Two week book
All of Ares 3 left Mark on Mars thinking that he was dead. Mark though, was alive and got stranded on Mars. Mark was the sixth man of a six manned team. Mark will have to live on Mars until ares 4 comes in 4 years. How will Mark a botanist survive?
I am really enjoying this book a lot. It is a really long book and it takes a long time to read. I would recommend this book to people like Gavin!

Slice of dream #2
My best dream ever was when in my dream I hit a buzzer beater to win the game. We were losing by 2 points when I got subbed in at center. My coach told me just to get the rebound a hopefully if their was time left on clock to have a quick shot. Their was something like 2 seconds left on the clock. We got the pass into a player who took a shot and missed. I got the shot off right as the Buzzer sounded. The shot went in a got fouled. Of course I made the free throw to win the game. The people in the building went crazy and the play made sports center top ten. Then I woke up and realized that it was just a dream.

Did you know that their is a mental illness that is called synesthesia? Well a thirteen year old girl named Mia has it. Synesthesia make it hard for Mia in school and having friends. Synesthesia is when someone's brain hears or sees something, their brain matches colors the words. Will Mia figure out how to deal with this problem and use it to her advantage?
I really like this book. the ending was a little sad but not too bad. This was a really fast read for me. I would recommend this book to people who like sad and happy books at the same times.

Cave of the Winds
Gere: Action
Peter is gone form the island and the other kids on the island are exploring the island when they find a cave. All of the kids want to go into this cave beaus they is treasure in this cave. Legend has it that this cave is hunted by the Goatman. This does not stop the Kids as they go looking for the treasure. Caption Hook also wants to find the treasure. Who will find the treasure first?
This book was okay. It was a really fast read for me. I would recommend it to people who like action and suspense books. My favorite character was the man guarding the treasure. I liked him because he was being really nice and helping the kids when they were in the cave.
