Theodore Boone kid lawyer

            This week I started a two week book thats is about a young boy who is named Theodore Boone. Both of Theodore's parents are lawyers so he wants to be a lawyer when he grows up. He spends all of his time in a court house and knows pretty much all of the security guards  and the judges.  Theodore gets involved with a muder trial. This is the story of the trial and the outcome of it. I really have liked this book so far. I would recommend it to gabe and billy in tairs class.

Okay for Now

This book is about a boy whose family is kind of a mess. To start off, the oldest brother is currently  fighting on the front line of the Vietnam War. The middle brother just got convicted for a bank robbery, and the dad is a lunatic who just made his family move into a really crummy house in Marysville, New York. His father made them move because of a new job that was supposed to make tons of money "that really does not". Marysville is about the most boring town ever and now Doug has to live in it. The only thing that is nice is a library. Fun fact: Doug has never even been inside of a library. So far I am really enjoying this book.

A Monster Calls

          This week I read a good book. It was about a young kid who has a name that  is Conor. Connor has a  mom that has cancer and is  connor is getting beat up at school by other kids. He also has a monster who talks to him and tells him story's. Conor follows the directions that the monster gives him. This is the story Conor's life. I really liked this book even though I could not and will not ever relate to Conor.This is a sad book. And batman.

Jonathan Livingston Seagull 1

         This week I read a pretty bad book. The writing in the book was not so bad. But it was the plot that made it so bad. I also could not relate to the main character, ( the seagull). In the Future I would  recommend this book to anyone. This book was about a seagull whos name is Jonathan. The book is written through his perspective. It talks about some of things going on in Jonathan life. ( Very Boring). Overall I did not like this book.

Boy in the Stripped Pajamas   (2)

       This week I finished a great book. The book is about a young boy who lives in Germany during the Holocaust.  The boy who's name is Bruno meets another young boy who is in a concentration camp. This is the story of their friendship and what it is like to live in Nazi Germany. This book changed completely for me. It was super sad. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good sad story. The plot of the story was great but super sad. I got really connected  to the characters during the whole book so the ending was super sad. It was a intense book. I felt bad for Bruno because he did not know what horrible things his dad did and what a horrible person his dad worked for.

      This week I read a really great book. I Loved so much because of the characters. I to am jewish so thats is why I could relate to it. I kinda made me scared about if I was born during the Holocaust.  The plot of the book is also good. I liked in the beginning when his mom was lying to him. This book is about a young boy whos name is Bruno. He happens to live in germany, during the holocust. This is a story about what his life is like.
