Week two
This book is about a black girl named Dana who one day gets drowsy and then goes back to slave times. When she got their, she looked around and found a little red head boy drowning in a lake. she swam out to the boy and saved him. Then his dad took out his gun and threatened her with it. Then she got dizzy again and went back two her time. Why did this happen?
I really liked this book. I would recommend this book to any one but their a lot of bad topics in this book.

Slice of life #6
Well, one night I was on a redeye to Mexico and had nothing to do. I asked my mom if I could watch TV on the plane and she said yes. The problem was, that their was absolute crap on the TV called Jessie or something like that. So, I tried to learn all of the capitols in the USA. I failed but at lest it was fun trying to learn them all.

Kindred by Octavia Butler
Kindred is about two people who are kindred to each other. Dana is a young woman who lives in 1970's California. Rufus is a boy that lives in the south when slaves are going on. One day Dana got dizzy and when back to Rufus time. when she look around she saw a young boy drawing in a lake. Dana saved the youth boy. Who was the boy? Will Dana get back her time? why did she go back in time?
I loved this book. It was a great book. Their are some rough topics in this book though but is a great book. I would recommend it to anyone.

Slice of life #5
So, we had just got to the store and helen had already picked out two things the my mom let her get! I had asked my mom if i could get something too and she said no. I was so mad! I said why dose Helen get to pick something out from the store and I don't? She answered "too bad life is not fair!". I made a packed to never go to the store with my mom. Then the next week we were driving home from school when she stopped at the grocery store and let me pick out something and did not let helen get any thing. then I was happy.

Thanksgiving SOL
Thanksgiving is my favorite day of the whole year! Every thanksgiving I go to my Ant and uncles house. In the morning, we all watch the Macy's thanksgiving day parade. When that is over we all watch the thanksgiving day dog show. After that we go to little Cheaseman park to play our families annual thanksgiving day football game "not soccer". This is my favorite part of the whole day. Next my family all ways watches a movie. When the movie is done, we go home to change into nice cloths for thanksgiving dinner. By the time we get all changed and go back to my ant and uncles house and are ready to start dinner, it is 7:30. we normally finish dinner and dessert my 9:40 and then talk to about 11:00 than we go home and thanksgiving is over.

The Martian
Week Two

Mark has almost all of Earth hoping for his return from Mars. NASA has come up with a lot of ideas on how to bring Mark back alive. All of them are risky and dangerous and to say the least, expensive. Will Mark make it out of Mars alive? Or nah.
This book is my new favorite book. I really liked this book because of all of the science in the book. The one downside is that this book had a lot of bad words in it. This book took me a long time to read, but it was worth it. The Martian is also kind of an adult book.

Slice of life #3
Their was three seconds left on the clock. I was playing in a snowy championship game in a soccer tournament in pueblo. I was so cold, I could hardly breath without coughing. It was 5 degrees and we were still playing anyway back to the slice. Their was three seconds left and their was a foul just outside of the box. My team was winning by 1 goal and the other team was taking the shot. I was in the goal. It was the longest three seconds of my life. I other guy slide back on the snow and the shot hit the cross bar. We had won!
